-
Is this page for therapy, coaching, or something else?
This page is a starting point. It helps you understand the different ways Creative Solutions Coaching supports individuals and directs you to the option that best fits what you’re looking for—therapy, coaching, self-guided tools, or educational resources.
If you already know what you want, you can navigate directly from here. If you’re unsure, this page is designed to help you orient without pressure.
-
What’s the difference between therapy and coaching here?
Therapy focuses on mental health, emotional processing, and clinical support. It may involve diagnosis, treatment planning, and working with long-standing patterns that affect wellbeing.
Coaching focuses on skill-building, decision-making, and navigating life or work challenges in the present. It is practical, structured, and goal-oriented.
Both are neurodivergent-affirming, but they serve different needs. Each service page explains this in more detail so you can decide what fits.
-
Do I need a diagnosis to work with you?
No. A formal diagnosis is not required for coaching or for accessing digital tools and resources.
Therapy services may involve diagnostic considerations depending on your goals and location, but you do not need to arrive with a diagnosis to begin a conversation.
-
Who do you typically work with?
Many individuals who use these services are:
- autistic or ADHD adults
- late-identified or self-identified neurodivergent people
- professionals navigating burnout, identity, or role strain
- people who feel “functional” but chronically overwhelmed
- individuals seeking support that does not rely on masking or constant self-compensation
You do not need to fit a specific profile to use the resources on this site.
-
I’m not sure what I need yet. Where should I start?
If you’re unsure, start with:
- the Insights section to understand how this work is approached
- the Digital Tools & Resources if you want something low-commitment and self-paced
- the Therapy or Coaching pages if you’re considering direct support
You don’t need to decide everything at once. This page is intentionally designed to reduce that pressure.
-
Are services available outside of therapy?
Yes. In addition to therapy and coaching, there are:
- self-guided digital tools
- written resources and essays
- structured frameworks for reflection and decision-making
These options are often helpful if you want support without scheduling, disclosure, or ongoing sessions.
-
Is this therapy site-wide?
No. Creative Solutions Coaching serves both individuals and professionals/organizations.
This page is only for individuals. Consulting, organizational training, and clinician-focused offerings live in a separate section of the site and are not mixed into individual services.
-
Do you work with people who are already “high functioning”?
Yes, though that label is often misleading.
Many people who seek this work appear outwardly capable but experience:
- chronic exhaustion
- decision fatigue
- role overload
- internalized pressure to perform
- difficulty sustaining systems that “should” work
The focus here is not on pushing performance, but on reducing unnecessary strain.
-
Is this approach focused on accommodations?
Not primarily.
While accommodations can be useful, this work emphasizes:
- systems that actually hold under real conditions
- clarity over optimization
- reducing friction rather than increasing effort
- designing support that doesn’t rely on constant self-override
This applies across therapy, coaching, and tools.
-
Can I use the resources without committing to services?
Yes. Many people use the Insights and digital tools independently.
There is no expectation that you will move into therapy or coaching. The site is designed to be useful even if you never book a session.
-
How do I know if therapy or coaching is right for me?
If you’re unsure:
- therapy may be a better fit if you want clinical support, emotional processing, or help with mental health symptoms
- coaching may be a better fit if you want structured support around decisions, systems, or navigating life/work challenges
You can review both pages or reach out through the contact page with questions.
-
What if none of this feels like a perfect fit?
That’s okay.
This page is not meant to force a decision or path. It’s meant to help you orient, understand what’s available, and choose what feels usable right now—or to decide that this isn’t what you need.
Clarity is a valid outcome, even if the answer is “not at this time.”
If you want to ask a question before choosing a direction, use the contact page. If you want to browse independently, start with resources or the store.
